RD8200G Utility Locator Training, Baghdad

Following the client’s purchase of a new Radiodetection RD8200G precision utility locator, Smart Line Geophysical Survey delivered a full training programme on the system in Baghdad.

The programme paired a theoretical session with practical fieldwork. The classroom component covered the operating principles of the RD8200G, its locating modes, the methods available for applying a signal to a target, and best practice for obtaining accurate readings. The field session then put the client’s team on the instrument under real working conditions.

Accurate location of buried cables and pipes is what keeps excavation safe: it reduces the risk of strikes, protects crews working on site, and keeps projects running to schedule.
