RD8200G Training for Oil-Pipeline Locating, Basrah

The client needed its engineers to locate and identify buried oil and gas pipes in the oil field, reliably and on their own, using the RD8200G.

We delivered a full course in two parts. In the classroom, the team covered the principles of electromagnetic locating, the RD8200G’s locating modes, and how the locator and transmitter work together. In the field, the engineers put this into practice on an oil-field site in Basrah, tracing buried pipelines and other utilities themselves under our guidance.

The course then followed the data off site: how to upload the survey measurements from the locator to a computer, and how to produce new maps from the field data.

The engineers can now operate the RD8200G, trace buried oil pipes and other utilities effectively, and take their measurements all the way from the field to a finished map.

ثم تابعت الدورة البيانات إلى ما بعد الموقع: كيفية نقل قياسات المسح من الجهاز إلى الحاسوب، وكيفية إنتاج خرائط جديدة من البيانات الميدانية.

أصبح المهندسون قادرين على تشغيل جهاز RD8200G، وتتبّع الأنابيب النفطية والخدمات المدفونة الأخرى بكفاءة، ونقل قياساتهم من الميدان حتى الخريطة النهائية.
