Data Processing

Concrete Evaluation, Canada

Smart Line Geophysical Survey completed the processing and interpretation of GPR data collected in a Canadian region using a 1600 MHz antenna. The data was gathered as a grid of profiles to evaluate the condition of a concrete floor that had cracked at an earlier time.

A 1600 MHz antenna is the right choice for concrete: it gives the fine resolution needed to separate reinforcement, conduits and cracking within the slab, at the cost of a penetration depth that concrete work does not need.

The data was processed using RADAN from GSSI, and all results were delivered to the customer as an integrated report.
